Dr. Justine Chiou

Endodontist

Dr. Justine Chiou is a highly committed and gentle endodontist who aims to deliver evidence-based quality care utilizing the latest technology to ensure every patient is informed and comfortable during their visit. Dr. Chiou received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with Honors in both Community Oral Health and Care of the Medically Complex from the University of Pennsylvania. She continued her advanced specialty training at the world-renowned University of Pennsylvania endodontics residency program where she taught micro-endodontic techniques to visiting endodontists from around the world.

During her academic career, Dr. Chiou was the recipient of the President Gutmann Leadership Award, the Drs. Samuel and Louis Rossman Endodontic Scholarship, and was a finalist in the prestigious American Association for Dental Research Hatton Award. She also has a passion for sharing her dental expertise in her community and abroad, teaching and volunteering in Philadelphia and Honduras, as well as conducting research at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. She has presented at both the American Association of Dental Research and the International Association of Dental Research and was one of the few selected members in the U.S. dental community to present with Bloc Travel Grant. Currently, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, Boston District Dental Society, American Association of Endodontists, and Massachusetts Association of Endodontists. She prides herself in staying up to date on the latest best practices and technology in clinical care.

In addition to English, Dr. Chiou is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese. As a provider, she not only has broad experience serving patients of various diverse backgrounds but also emphasizes care with of warmth, empathy, and painless experience.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling with family and trying out new restaurants in Boston area!

Dr. Allen Ali Nasseh

Endodontist

Dr. Allen Ali Nasseh earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Northwestern University Dental School in 1994 and completed his postdoctoral endodontic training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) in 1997, where he also received a Masters in Medical Sciences in the area of bone physiology. Since 1997, he has served as a Clinical Instructor and Lecturer in the Post-doctoral Endodontic Program and Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterial Sciences at HSDM. Currently, he is the Interim Clinical Director and Director of the endodontic surgery course at HSDM’s postgraduate endodontic program.

Dr. Nasseh has held several roles, such as Alumni Editor of the Harvard Dental Bulletin and endodontic editor for various peer-reviewed journals and periodicals (aegisdentalnetwork.com). He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Real World Endo® (RealWorldEndo.com) and serves as an endodontic consultant and advisor on biomaterials and medical devices.

Active in professional committees, Dr. Nasseh is a member of the American Dental Association Materials and Instruments Committee, Chairman of the Krakow Research Committee, and Chairman of the Special Advisory Group to the Dean at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He also contributes as a member of the clinical needs advisory board for National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research/National Institutes of Health’s Michigan-Pittsburgh-Wyss Center for Regenerative Medicine (doctrc.pitt.edu)

Dr. Nasseh is internationally recognized and lectures extensively on surgical and non-surgical endodontic topics and organizes educational courses through his company in the field of endodontics. His online educational videos in endodontics have garnered over 10 million views.

Based in downtown Boston, Dr. Nasseh resides with his family and pursues interests in racket sports, athletics, travel, photography, and filmmaking.

Dr. Sara Hoge

Endodontist

Dr. Sara Hoge is a distinguished endodontist with a rich academic background and a strong commitment to advancing patient care. She graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2017 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). Pursuing advanced studies at the same institution, she completed her Masters of Medical Sciences and certificate in Endodontics in 2020.

As a part-time faculty member at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Hoge is dedicated to educating the next generation of dental professionals. She enjoys both lecturing and attending the dental students in the Teaching Practice. She has presented her research at both the American Association of Endodontics (AAE) and the International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA).

Dr. Hoge is particularly passionate about patient-centered care, specializing in working with individuals who experience dental anxiety. Her approach focuses on delivering pain-free, compassionate root canal treatments, ensuring that her patients receive the highest standard of care in a comfortable and supportive environment. Outside of her endodontic practice, Dr. Hoge enjoys practicing yoga, working in her garden, and learning to cook new dishes.
